
Nutritionist Mariyat Mukhina spoke about the health benefits of different types of grapes, noting that grape seeds are also beneficial.
Grapes are not recommended for people who are overweight and have carbohydrate metabolism disorders, but they are not contraindicated for others – doctor Mukhina said this in a comment to Sputnik radio. According to the doctor, the use of different types of grapes has a wide range of beneficial properties.
Purple grapes.It is rich in polyphenolic compounds anthocyanins, which help the body fight free radicals, as well as remove heavy metals and toxins.
Red and pink grapes. Contain a lot of quercetin, due to which it effectively strengthens the cardiovascular system. It is also useful for the prevention of viral diseases.
Green grapes. Are a rich source of magnesium and potassium, which is important for the good functioning of the cardiovascular and nervous systems.
“The daily norm of grapes for a healthy person is 100-200 g, and raisins – 50 g per day,” Mariyat Mukhina clarified.
She added that grape seeds also have great potential for benefit. The doctor noted that grape seeds contain insoluble fiber and omega-3, and their intake has a beneficial effect on the heart, blood vessels, skin, as well as on the general condition of a person.
